I had pretty low expectations but was pleasantly surprised by this bread. My diet is super restrictive and finding options without tapioca/rice flour/sugar/fillers/etc is pretty tough. I expected this to be really similar to the Uprising bread, which also has great ingredients but I just couldn't handle the flavor. Thankfully Unbun has a better flavor and texture (in my opinion), and also toasts better... the ingredients are basically the same except Unbun also has coconut flour and olive oil. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this to someone who doesn't "need" to eat this cleanly - it's not as delicious as typical bread and it's expensive. But I'm super grateful to have this option. As others have said, keep it in the freezer!!It all stuck to there and fell apart so sandwiches aren’t square they are a balled up mess. The taste nor consistency fell short. They need to go back to drawing board. Why does it have to be more expensive than gluten bread????I love the flavor of this bread, however, I do not care for the high sodium content per slice. I always like to have a slice with a meal. Can't do 2 slices because of the sodium. Otherwise, it's great. At $10.00 a loaf I've tasted better.Muy bueno el pan pero Lamentablemente el empaques de uno de los panes no selló y llegó con hongo… no tenía conocimiento de la política de devolución en estos casos y lamentablemente lo perdí no me dan devolución de un pan que es muy costosoMy husband and I follow a Paleo diet which means no grains. This of course means no bread. Even many of the gluten-free breads are made with rice flour or some other grain, legume, dairy or unapproved (in the paleo world) oil. I thought I’d try this brand as I had been craving a sandwich. Most bread products that I’ve tried have been dry, brittle and crumbled. The un bun had a bit of a stretchy texture that is hard to get without high gluten (wheat). It ate like bread should! The biggest problem I had with the bread was the size. The pieces are very small so plan on eating two sandwiches. Also there aren’t many slices, so by time my husband and I each had lunch (2 sandwiches each) there were only a few remaining slices. And poof…$10 loaf of bread gone. I loved having a real tasting bread option but I’ll see if I can recreate it in my kitchen ?I haven't been able to eat standard bread for years, and it feels like a miracle to be able to eat what feels/tastes like bread again. I usually toast mine to bring out the nuttiness and a bit of crunch.I got this bread with low expectations and it has blown me away with the flavor and texture, the density and ability to toast which are all hit and miss with grain free, low carb breads. The bread is as soft as white bread and the flavor is very neutral. I had an untoasted tuna sandwich and I could actually taste the sandwich filling rather than the bread, most low carb breads have a thick dense texture that makes it hard to swallow and a strong flavor. Not this bread, it felt almost like white bread and the flavor was neutral but similar to a whole grain taste. Next I toasted the bread and topped it with pizza toppings. It toasted beautifully and again I could taste my toppings rather than the bread. I have finally found a bread replacement that doesnt feel like a substitute. 6 grams of carbs per slice and 4 grams fiber, meaning only 2 net carbs per slice if you count your carbs this way. 12 grams carbs/4 net carbs for a whole sandwich is awesome. the ingredient list is also impressive, all whole food and recognizable ingredients no weird stuff or chemicals. also, it is dairy free which matters to me. There are 2 cons: size of slices are small, and the price...at $10 per loaf, this will be a luxury buy rather than a grocery staple. Also, once opened shelf life is 7 days so be aware of that and freeze before it goes bad.
