The two loaves were, indeed, a treat for me. I never have paid almost $18 for a loaf of bread. I purchased the two loaves to give me incentive to make my own walnut- cranberry bread. The loaves arrived at my door step fresh. The bread texture was quite chewy and pulled off in blotch bites. It is an artisan bread and nothing like it comes close to being available in Southern Indiana where there are few, if any, bakeries. Because of the expense, I am not ordering this bread again even though I give it a five-star review. And after eating the first loaf, I find the dough tough, the edge overly-flakely and the dough hard to chew. Planning to make my own.
