A great bread bin with style and class.Large/small enough to hold a loaf of bread, lightweight and very unique in design. Decal added! Love it!!I love this bread box made in France. I feel safe putting my bread and bagels in this high quality plastic bread box. My bread and bagels last a lot longer. It's just pretty pricy. But I love it so much that I order another one which is on the way. But I hope someday, the company will make another one with smaller size and shape perhaps?Functional, clean lines, easy to clean.Amazing gorgeous bread box deff the Bentley of boxesThis Alessi bread box is perfect. I love the modern shape. It is well made & the mechanism is smooth. I got it to put crackers & other open items in zip lock bags inside it I instead of having them on the counter.Beautiful, sleek design, looks so cool in my contemporary kitchen. It’s the perfect size to sit on the counter and was well packaged so it arrived in pristine condition. Shipping was fast too. Sturdy and the top opens smoothly, an awesome update on a utilitarian item.I needed a black, modern, inexpensive bread bin. This Alessi bin fit the bill. This sleek, not at all see thru bin really pops on my counter. It only fits 1 loaf of bread or half a loaf of french bread.Where I took off a star is the problems I had with shipping. When I ordered the item it said shipping is 4-6 days. It took 3 weeks!!! I felt this information could've been pertinent at the beginning of my purchase, instead of constantly checking my account and seeing the shipping date being extended.Of course, they took the payment out of my account the say I ordered.Despite the shipping nightmare, I am happy with my purchase..This product was bought on its looks to go with a redesigned country kitchen. It did that job and is eye-catching standing on a bamboo work surface. However the standard size loaf has to be squashed out of shape to pass through the door and into the bin. Once inside the bin it is even more difficult to remove the bread for slicing. So using sliced bread and manipulating the individual slices out of the bin is the only reasonable option for full-size UK loaves. So it is only really OK if you use Baguettes and similar sized bread.I love the design. The lid opens and closes as smoothly as a door on an expensive car (!). It’s made of a pleasing resin. There isn’t a massive amount of space in it, but it does take a normal loaf plus a few rolls. The bread doesn’t dry out in it.Love the shape and style of this bread bin however not very practical if you use a lot of bread (which we don't luckily ) as you can't get much in it some rolls and some small loaves will fit in not allQuite expensive but for us its greatBrilliant bread binFabulous, not large, not suitable for a family, but for a couple of people it’s great!Lovely Alessi.
