It arrived in perfect order, 2 minutes into the heating it started cracking from the handle on the right side all the way up the lid to the back of the appliance. Needless to say I had thrown the box away, I am house bound so I could not return it.This is the first item I have ever had a problem with, I shop Amazon all the time. I realize it was the Seller not Amazon.this is great... the cupcakes cook pretty quick... about 5 min... but you have to do many 5 min batches... i have 2 machines... we make cupcakes for parties w/little kids... they are just the right size... too cute...Even though this item was well packed, someone else had this before and returned it. It was is terrible shape. I will mark this seller as black listed and not use them again. I am returning this as per Amazon's agreement and instructions and will by a replacement locally. This is totally unacceptable.I received my babycakes cupcake maker as a birthday present and used it about three times before it was unusable. Although very fun and easy to use the quality is quite bad. The first issue I had with this product is that the lettering on the top for the "on/off" is just painted on and seeing that the device gets hot, touching the lettering at all (for instance if you spill something on it..) results in it rubbing off. The second issue I had was that the on/off lights actually fell into the lid of the machine! Not sure how that happened but they appear to be stuck somewhere in there and seeing that the entire device gets very heated up using it again would result in the pieces melting. Very fun, just poor quality.First time I used it, it SMOKED and SMELLED HORRIBLE. The instructions say liners are optional and I tried some with liners and some without. Those without would not come out and I had to scoop out the CUPCAKE IN CRUMBLES.The main problem I had was that I tried cleaning it as instructed and the NON-STICK SURFACE RUBBED RIGHT OFF. I have never seen anything wipe off that easily. Makes me wonder that if someone doesn't use liners and actually ends up with a cupcake that will not fall apart, then will the surface cook into the cupcake. I would definitely consider it UNSAFE TO EAT THE CUPCAKE if you don't use a liner.VERY DISAPPOINTED.
