When I was a child, a family friend would bring me a small loaf of homemade Swedish rye bread for Christmas and my birthday. It never lasted an hour! I ate it with no butter, or jam, or anything. I loved It! When I grew up, I found a recipe for it (the family friend would never give up hers), but I lost it. Thank you sooooooo much for letting me renew my childhood joy! The bread is wonderful! Just the way I remember it! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
