I have had the ice machine 3 weeks ago or so now. It's awesome! I leave it plugged in so I have ice available whenever I need it and use gallon size baggies to store it for the other fridge. It does stick together but it breaks apart easily enough. I hauled 20lb bags to my house for years. My ice was always frozen in a giant chunk for thawing and refreezing from bringing it home. This machine has made my life so much easier. I bought the 5 year insurance too so you know it's never going to die since I bought that! ;)I use this almost daily as I have pica and love to chew ice. The ice is perfect and softer after a little time for chewing (CircleK style ice :)) Haven't had any issues.I have only had this in operation since Monday, 7/18/2022 and so far I think it's great. I bought it since my fridge ice maker doesn't work and buying ice is a pain and getting expensive! I use a lot of ice. It works as advertised and is what I expected. The reviewers that say it's loud... it's a fan running. It's not that loud, if I were watching TV while it was running it wouldn't be a factor. The ones talking about it melting fast, it's not meant to keep it as a freezer. It makes the ice and you move it to another place or use it right away. The ones saying you move it to a freezer and it becomes a big chunk, yes, ice does that. Bagged ice needs to be dropped to break it up on occasion. I haven't made the small cubes, but the big ones are decent sized and work great.I did like it but a part came off and I didn't know where it came from.Works for small amount of ice when neededWe love this!! I hate stainless so I won't buy a new one right now. It does work and make ice fast. The only issue is the ice melts in your drink within 5-8 minutes. My husband uses an insulated cup and they still melt very quickly. I bought this one thinking it would be better than one of the cheaper ones. Should have saved my money and just filled the ice trays.Wish there was a way that the ice did not stick together when transfer to a bag!
