Liked this french press, especially since there is no plastic. However. I broke the beaker and the lid on the plunger is too big for the "universal" replacement ones - I tried 2 different ones. I also tried to get in touch with Kitchenexus - e-mails bounced. I finally just bought a different french press.UPDATE: After writing the above review, Kitchenexus promptly contacted me and sent a new French Press. Customer service is excellent so I changed my rating from 1 star to 4. If there was a replacement beaker that fit the lid for this press, I would give it a 5.I have used this about 7 times since buying. It works perfectly, making sure all coffee grounds are pressed and not in the liquid. I find I use less coffee grounds than my previous one, a Bouden because it presses the grounds completely at the bottom.I really like this French press. It is very simple to use and convenient. I am using it in my home for brewing loose leaf teas. The taste is very crisp. I have also tried it with coffee and must admit I like it taste better than my coffee maker because it taste so crisp and really believe its because it you are only using the press and water no machine.It's the first french press I've ever purchased and I'm happy. Extremely easy to clean, fairly sturdy, and surprisingly it holds the heat for a good bit. It is a bit small though, only makes about four cups.Amazing product and great customer service. Love this French Press- just the right size for me, easy to clean and easy to use. I never owned a French Press before this one. Super excited for it!This is so cool!!
