Description
Proofing baskets, also known as bannerols or , are used for the final rising stage of bread dough before baking. Made of rattan, the baskets provide dough with its shape and structure, while the coils and lines imprint their patterns onto the dough for a decorative finish. To use, simply dust the surface with flour before placing dough inside. This will allow dough to easily be removed after proofing. When necessary, rinse with hot water and dry immediately upside down, or simply tap out excess flour.
