It took a little research, as this item has both a GE number and a Samsung part number. The original part actually IS manufactured by Samsung. The part came in after only 2 days, and I was pleased to see the the label was exactly the same as my original, other than the manufacture date. Folks, this is a repair you absolutely can make. Having watched the video, it literally took longer to unbox and unwrap the new piece than it did to change out. One screw, One wire cover, one connector, push the clip and the old one dropped into my hand. Installation was the reverse. SUPER easy. I had my first batch of 7 cubes in about 90 minutes, and after 24 hours, my tray is over half full. Again, this is a drop in, OEM part and works great.
