I have a GE nugget ice maker that uses pump with part number UPK3. This part costs $750 and out of stock. From looking at pictures, this pump looked identical so I gave it a shot and it worked perfectly. This is a direct replacement for GE UPK3.To reduce possible noise levels, I used a rubber bushing to reduce noise/vibration. The pump is great. I had used the gravity drain for several years and this is so much better at removing the water resulting from ice melt. I have only used it about a month but so far so good. The installation instructions were good. Remember you don't need the shield unless using outdoors (which I wasn't). I think you will be happy with the pump if you had experienced blockage in the drain line as I did when I had the gravity drain system.It is fantastic. But the drain is a little loud.This product works to remove the water as specified. But it is so loud and vibrates so much it rattles the glasses in the cabinetry next to the icemaker and can be heard all over the house (icemaker is in the finished basement bar area of a 5600sqft house). Rubber bushings for the bottom may help IF they were included but are not. Be aware this product is almost unbearably loud. But otherwise functions as you would think.Mine arrives without its check valve. Contacted the seller. They referred me back to the manufacturer. Not very happy with their lack of ownership or the quality level from Ice-O-Matic
