Works great for feeding water to my ice maker. Common sense, but avoid kinking it or crushing it. I used a 25 ft. water line to attach to the 3/8 copper pipe in my cabinet. I had towells ready to absorb the runoff after I shutoff the valve. Common sense, but have a bucket and heavy wrench nearby in case you need to turn off your main valve that you have ready to turn off with a water valve wrench once the water cover is removed. Self-plumbing isn't easy, since it is a rare job, but it's better than paying a plumber. YouTube says to avoid those crimping connections, so beware of that danger. It isn't even acceptable code in some cities.I used this line to install a whole house humidifier. I much prefer using these water lines to the cheaper alternatives. They are easy to install and offer much more protection to the line than the standard plastic tubing or even the flexible copper lines.SatisfiedOur old water hose split (talk about a mess!!) so we got this one so we would never have to do that again. ran through several pitchers of water and finally changed out the water filter to get the water to taste good. Water is ok, but ice is still awful. I keep dumping the whole bin and it's not getting any better. May have to change the water filter yet again. However, that being said, it was easy to install (had to drill a slightly bigger hole in the floor because the end is a bit bigger than the standard plastic hose we had initially, but no big deal) and we no longer have to worry about damaging the floor because I don't think this can rupture like the old one.It Looks like durable pipeThis is exactly what we needed to fix our refrigerator’s water line. We previously had a copper tube that started leaking. We called a plumber and he was booked out 10 days. Moving the fridge is no problem now, since we replaced the copper tubing with this.Went to fit and found fitting on one end oblong and not round which will not fit other fitting. Package undamaged so can only assume item was dispatched like this and not checked.Worked as expected. I've been using this for my water line to my fridge, as the 1/4" plastic hose that typically runs to the fridge water/ice machine isn't exactly up to the task (can and will eventually break, causing water damage).Note that the fridge's water machine (built into the fridge) uses the aforementioned 1/4 plastic hose, so my setup isn't foolproof.Product was great worked well and shipped fast. Just what my fridge needed to be hooked to from the water!Item arrived quickly and had no problem installing it and after running out the initial air bubbles there were no problems or freaky smells as some people noted.
