All things considered, I went the safer route of just buying one I already knew to be returned / used at a deep discount. I am glad I did. The table had been repackaged by the Amazon Warehouse folks, and upon delivery, the top only had a minor, but noticeble chip on one corner.IF you are willing to take a risk on this, and IF you are able to get it in one piece, this is a good workstation desk. Overall, the height can be set from approx. 28" to 32", which will also depend on whether or not you are using the sturdy casters which come with it. I use mine to support a sit/stand desktop which I place on the surface, and it works great. I do notice a slight wobble to the table itself, but nothing outrageous. The legs are secured to the top with four inset nuts. There is also a cross member and small wiring shelf to hold a power strip. My one concern is that the adjustable legs are mounted with four small bolts which all attach on the same side (the side where you sit). This means that the whole assembly weight and desktop is held by these screws which are all on one side of the leg. I'm no engineer, but I feel that having at least one addtional screw on the opposite side would make it more secure. That said, even at this size, the workspace is more than adequate for a laptop, a monitor, and a desktop. It also includes a single center cable management hole with cover, which is somewhat inconvenient (being centered) but handy.I'd recommend this sturdy desk to anyone if it can be purchased used/discounted, and if an unsightly chip here or there is not a problem for you.Just got this desk delivered and assembled. This thing weighs a ton, would probably take 2 normal people to move and assemble. I feel like I got extremely lucky, only 1 of the corners had any damage and I didn't even notice it until it was all put together, it was so minimal. Also, it's on one of the back corners, so for me it will be out of sight and out of mind. Shipping was via UPS and the box was literally falling apart when it got to me. It looked like it has been taped over several times where it had ripped open during transit. For this I'm only doing 4 stars, instead of the 5, as this could have easily been a nightmare for me given the packaging used for such a heavy item.Overall, I'm very happy with the product and I feel that I got a monster deal on it when I did! If they could figure out a way to prevent the shipping damage that seems to plague this item, it would easily be 5 stars!I was looking for a desk on wheels that could be moved around the house as needed. After much searching I found this Brawny desk. It is very well made and fairly easy to assemble. The casters are large enough to roll easily around my house over various flooring transitions. I read the reviews complaining of poor packaging and cracked corners in the laminate top. My box arrived with one corner pretty beat up, but fortunately the top only have a very tiny chip in that corner. Nothing worth the effort of a return. It is a VERY heavy item and I am sure it is a struggle to ship. Overall, I am very pleased with the product. It fits my needs and is built to last a really long time. This is a very heavy duty desk perfect for computer work. I wanted to give it 5 stars for design and intended use but the packaging for the weight of this desk is insufficient resulting in very visible top surface damage. I have contacted the seller and I would like a replacement top. I also hope to continue this review after resolution of this issue, stay tuned.Let me amend the above review, five stars for resolving the shipping damage so quickly. I am completely satisfied and if I need some more office furniture, I know where to go.The box arrived and was damaged on the metal side. There is a small chip on desktop on left front corner. It appears that the Styrofoam used in packing the box slipped or the metal parts (frame) managed to break loose from the Styrofoam and these slid around a bit. There is a scratch and a small gouge on the support piece. None of these mars are a problem to me, but such should not happen. The desk top is quite heavy as one would expect from a 1" slab of press-board.Pack the desk a bit better. I do like the desk as iot fits my needs.Pros:Size is just fine, deep enough and not too wide. The height is a bit disappointing. If you want to use it while standing then this is not for you.Cons:Assembling is quite annoying, as the parts are not delivered as the same as what the instruction manual described. There are a ton of useless parts that are not even mentioned in the manual. It's not really adjustable unless you use a screwdriver.I work from home and have a mechanical sit /stand machine that is very heavy and needs to stand on the desk. This desk handles it well. It it is very sturdy even with the wheels on. Great desk at a value price. Highly recommend it.Great desk. I got the 72" model. UPS absolutely trashed the box and it it was undamaged, great internal packaging (or I got lucky). Minimal scrape on underside of table that can be buffed out. No chipped edges or bent metal. Both sides laminated, two ports for cords with proper covers, very sturdy, and HEAVY. No missing pieces, no extra pieces. The piece of metal that serves as stability also doubles as a cable holder. It's hard to find functional furniture like this anymore. Well worth the money. Using for a home office.Bought this almost 3 years ago, still standing strong after moving twice. Very happy with its durability.
