This is one of those bargain finds that you don’t see every day. This bread machine is just as good as a zojiroshi, at a far better price point. There are even things about this machine I prefer over a zojiroshi. While I won’t make this a book, I will go over my three favorite things about the bread machine and one or two drawbacks. Otherwise this review would be wayyy too long.First, I love the paddles. I haven’t had them get stuck in the bread since I got it. They are shaped I. Such a way that they naturally come out when removing the loaf, unless the crust is super hard. They are also covered in a nonstick coating to give additional assurance that you won’t end up with big holes in your bread. In addition, the loafs are mixed on their end, so your bread comes out uniform and your first slice is going to be the only one that is oddly shaped. It makes them great for sandwiches, although they are big sandwiches. I generally cut a piece in half and use that.Second, the instructions are the best I have ever seen in ANY user manual. There’s tips in the manual that go above and beyond expectations. I always read the manual and have read hundreds of manuals. I haven’t ever seen one as well done as this. The recipes are also well explained. For example, it tells you what kind of yeast this bread machines recipes were tested with and why. Apparently, there’s several kinds of yeast and using the right kind is important and if you don’t have the right kind, it tells you how to make adjustments to make up for it.Third, it has over thirty preset programs plus a homemade program that you can program to your own recipes. It also has several other options that aren’t bread, like jams and jelly, yoghurt, and cake. That brings me to the biggest negative about the machine. With all the programs on this machine, you have to scroll through them in order to get to the one you want. That can really be annoying if you are trying to get all the way to last one. This is partly addressed by a button you can push that takes you halfway down the menu, but it could really use a number pad to enable one to get right to the program you want. Honestly this is the only real con I can think of. There are many other great features but you can read about them in the product listing. The bottom line is that I highly recommend this machine and might even buy it over a zojiroshi knowing what I do now. Stellar.
