It’s not made out of stainless steel, but instead its made of brushed aluminum. It looks very elegant and it holds enough bread for a few days. I do have to tell you that if you don’t have enough counter space like me you are going to need a shelf for it. Overall I’m really happy with it an since I’m using the food plastic wrap that you can get at any grocery store, the bread stays fresh for a long time. For example I make a badge every weekend for the whole week and it lasts me all 7 days without going stale or growing mold which wasn’t the case before. I don’t know if it’s because the temperature inside is cooler but I’m just happy to not be throwing away my bread.Also the price I think is very reasonable, I went to a few specialty stores in my city and they were all too expensive and not worth the money in my opinion. I’m pretty picky when it comes to buying kitchen stuff, and I like to get things that are good quality or very close at a decent price or discounted. I love looking for deals :). Also mine did not come damaged or defective so what more can I say and no nobody is paying me to write this, I want you to see the review I wish I had when I was looking for this.Product works as stated and is easy to clean. This product can hold an entire loaf of bread, a full pkgs of hotdog rolls and two full pkgs of English muffins with a little room to spare !When I purchased my old breadbox and opened the box it had been damaged. Since it was not to the point of being unusable and I didn't want to go back to the store, I kept it.It finally got on my nerves and when i saw this one on Amazon I loved the look so I bought it.It is made very well, it is large enough for our needs, the bread stays fresh and it looks so cute withthe frosted window. I love it! It's a keeper. My daughter thinks it's adorable too!It has rubber feet that stop it from sliding. The rolltop, translucent door is nice as it gives a hint of content. (I was amazed when I put 2 pkgs. Thomas' english muffins, a loaf of Arnold's rye, 2 pkgs. of tortilla wraps, half a pkg. of Thomas' bagels and a sleeve of saltine crackers!!) It’s very sturdy and very classy looking - it looks good on my counter.This box is NOT 17.5" × 7.5" × 11.5" as described. The black trim height is 1/4" high and goes completely around the bread box forming the feet on the base and the bumper area at the back of the box. Actual outside width is 16.5".. height is 7.5" (including 1/4" black trim top and bottom)..depth front to back is 10.75" (including 1/4" black trim front and back)Perfect!Got an open plan kitchen/living room/dining. Very happy with purchase, sturdy and closes/opens well, I've disinfected it with Dettol wipes and it didn't rust at all so good quality stainless steel. Definitely recommended.Took 2 weeks to arrive and came very dented even if the package was immaculate. Was it played around with. Very off.
