Fabulous product! Gluten free pita pocket bread! Absolutely LOVE IT! Definitely follow their suggestions on toasting it prior to using it. Makes all the difference! Once I open the pkg I keep it protected in the fridge. But I find I use it quickly! So glad to find it on line. Originally I located it in a remote store.I will continue to be a loyal customer!I don't know how they did it, but this company has gained my loyalty on the strength of this product alone. These are better than most gluten pita that I've tried in the past (prior to my celiac diagnosis)- it opens into a functional pocket, usually without any cracking or tearing. They stand up to being stuffed with lunchmeat and cheeses. They have a nice resistance to the bite, and a nice chew. Not at all crumbly or dry or gummy. They are also great toasted and used to dip in tzatziki or hummus (or presumably other dips).I was happy to find them here in a 10 pack for the same price per pita as compared to buying them in a 4 pack from the grocery store. I found that I was going through a lot of those 4 packs, so this cuts down on packaging and I don't have to worry about constantly stocking up or running out. To be honest, I would not have paid more for this larger package, as I can just buy more 4 packs at the store if necessary. But, being that the price works out the same, I prefer to purchase them this way.We used these to make mini pizzas on the grill and only received positive feedback from our guests. While expensive, they taste and texture were great for what we were looking for.Our daughter had a friend come for a visit with her and her friend was Gluten free! She enjoyed the bread very much and took what remained home with her. My only complaint was the expensive price! Each small pita round came up to more than $2.00 Way TOO EXPENSIVE.These are great for gyro base (dont split). You can cut one in half for a tuna salad; Used just like bread, add sprouts or lettuce, maybe a bit more mayo, boom! a sandwich. If you wanna get fancy, toast one and then cut in half and then you will see you can open the half like a pocket. Open to stuff with anything you want to eat.Expensive but very good! Great taste when toasted or grilled.Delicious taste. Not heavy which some gluten free breads can be. Great toasted or warmed. Tried to make pita chips but didnt work - too flexible rather than crunchy.
