So this is a very nice machine. It is very fast to make cold or hot almond milk. I have made the almond milk twice on cold so far, but prefer the hot because it brings out more flavor and makes the almond milk taste a lot better (it makes more of a foaming mess in canister). When I first made the milk on cold it was horrible but I did make myself drink it even though it did not taste good, probably because I didn't let the almonds soak in water for at least 4 hours. It is noisy when it is grinding nuts, but it only lasts for a a minute or so here and there. I love the quality and the simple pieces that make up this machine. It is easy to clean. I have no idea what these plastic containers are for that they included (it would have been nice for the money I paid to include a stainless steel one cup container). I avoid plastic so the plastic containers will probably go in the recycle bin or by reused for something else that is not food. As you can see with the photo this small plastic container only fits 1/2 cup of product. So far so good with this products and I highly recommend it. The best tasting milk comes from added ingredients. I have started making it with almond extract, vanilla extract, and a few dates (with 5 cups of water). It is delicious. Finding the right recipe is the key to making this milk actually enjoyable.
