Stainless steel stuffing tubes are so much better than plastic stuffer tubes! This is an excellent quality stuffer tube, and comes with a special oversized retaining nut for the TSM 5# vertical stuffer. With my purchase of this, I have now completely replaced all my plastic stuffer tubes that came with my 5# TSM stuffer with stainless steel. 1-1/2" base diameter.
