The other reviews on this product are dead on, it won't work as it is out of the box... It is not assembled properly in the instructions failed to mention anything about needing to assemble it. A quick look makes this obvious. The spout valve should be on the outside of the device, not on the inside. This way when you press the button, the valve opens and then when you release the button the valve cuts off the flow of batter effectively making a donut. Once I assembled it properly it works perfectly.Remove the valve assembly from the housing, and unscrew the valve from the end of the Piston. Reinstall the Piston into the housing, press the button, and screw the valve back on with the pointy tip facing the inside of the assembly. This also creates a flat surface when the valve is closed so that you can set the dispenser down on a plate or whatever you would like. Fill it with batter. Press the button, the valve opens and the batter will flow. Release the valve and it will cut off the flow, providing a circular batter dispense.Note to the manufacturer, if you would like to avoid returns and complications with your products, feel free to reach out to me and I will help you to refine your instruction sheets or produce instructional videos.
