I needed bread bags, not for regular or artisan loaves of bread, but rather my sweet breads. I’ve been making a lot of pumpkin and banana breads and like to have bread bags on hand. I can store a bread right on the counter on a small platter without having to worry about wrapping and unwrapping the loaf. I find that it’s easy to put my breads on end and pull back the bread wrapper, cut off a slice, and slip the rest back in the bag. Now, the size of these bags will fit anything that goes in a 5” x 9” loaf pan. It’s not a large bag, but just perfect for those smaller sweet breads. I can also put rolls or other baked goods in them, but I ordered them specifically for the smaller loafs I bake. I find they are perfect to use when I “gift” a bread. I can put a bread in one of these bags practically out of the oven and run it over to a friend’s house. The bags are sturdy, but not quite as heavy-duty as the standard loaf bags one gets in a store. They are quite lightweight, but perfect for my use. It all depends on what one wants to use them for. For my use they are perfect, but as I mentioned, if you’re going to make artisan bread or full-sized loaves, take a pass. If you’re using them like I do, you’ll love them. I’m storing them right along with my flour in a plastic bin. Love these little bags and when I run out, I’ll be purchasing them again.NOTE: I purchased these as an Amazon Add-On, but the Verified Purchase badge is not showing up.
