I have been looking for a big bread bowl for rising dough in for quite a while. I am not disappointed that I bought this one. I am handicapped in a wheelchair with weakness to my upper body, as well as lower. I could not use the ceramic rising bowls, as they are heavy even before the dough is in it. This bowl is very light. I also like that it is all natural, no plastic or BPA here. I wash it lightly with soap and water, then dry immediately. After every 3-4 uses I add food-safe oil to it. It will last a very long time, maybe one day my great-grandchildren will be using it.
