The plate is made from enamel coated cast iron and can be thermostatically controlled up to 570°F. This machine is UL listed and has a limited one year parts & labor warranty. It features a batter spreader for the operator's convenience. Users can thermostatically control the unit with temperatures as hot as 570 degrees Fahrenheit. Because this plate is heated by a replaceable spiral calrod element, temperatures rise rapidly and heat uniformly spreads across the entire surface.
