I haven't gotten to use this yet, but it is sturdy, well-made, and looks great. My intention was to line it with clean cotten napkins and serve hot bread slices for guests. Never got around to that yet, but I am impressed with it and have no doubt it will be a classy addition to a modern formal dinner table. It's pretty long, so take the stated measurements into account for storage.
